Cozy Oceanfront Cottage - Hot tub & Sauna - Private

Beautiful cottage! Amazing view!! We all enjoyed our stay!

Overall, the stay was great and would go again. The view was wonderful, cottage was clean, and grounds are well kept. A few things, I did not like there was no back light to the back deck so we were not able to utilize it as much once it got dark. It was dangerous going down the back step to get to sauna without a flashlight. There was no window covering on the front or back door would have liked that for privacy; however, not sure if this was done for security reasons. Communication from the property manager or the person sent to enter as someone came by and just opened the garage door. This left myself and my husband feeling a bit uncomfortable knowing that someone could just enter at any time and not bother to knock on the door to let us know that they are there.

The name that the owners chose for this property was perfect. Given one word to describe this place, cozy would be about the best. It felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. Everything one could imagine needing was there and found where one might expect to find it. The furniture and decor were comfortable, everything was clean with no surprises, and the view was awesome. When you add in the sauna and hottub which were the perfect combination for winding down the days, this place certainly rates as many stars as we can possibly give it. The only part we didn’t enjoy was having to leave.

Location was beautiful and setting/amenities were perfect for a low key beach vacation/reunion with our adult children. A great base for family time, exploring, and enjoying nature on the south shore trails and beaches. We saw seals and even had an eagle visit the shoreline of the property our first afternoon there. Restorative and fun, even with all the rain and fog! Highly recommend.
